Bryce Canyon

With the heater on we were warm and cozy and slept somewhat OK. Dicker new exactly were the warmest spot was and cuddled right between us. Not much room left for us. We woke up to bright sunshine. But man, was is cold. Bundled up we drove the 3 miles to the entrance of Bryce Canyon.

Hoodoos
The sunken ship
The silent city

Hard to pick the best pics.
  Did you know?
An elderly Paiute Indian named "Indian Dick" describes how Bryce Canyon was formed. Before there were any Indians, the "Legend People" lived in this place. They were of many kinds - birds, animals, lizards & such things - but they had the power to make themselves look like people. For some reason, the Legend People were bad, so Coyote turned them all into rocks. You can see them in that place now, all turned into rocks; some standing in rows, some sitting down, some holding onto others. You can see their faces with paint on them just as they were before they became rocks.
