I ain't bluffing

On Sunday (5/11) we drove just 80 miles to Bluff. Little teeny tiny town with 640 people living there. We headed right out to Monument Valley.

unbelievable color combinations along the way
Usually when we go to parks, we visit the Visitor Center first. Most of the time they have nice little movies that give you an over view. And with most of the parks being located and/or owned by Indians, they try to impart knowledge on how they think of the land and so forth. All has to do with respect for anything and everything. That's right down our aisle. According to the 2010 Census 40 % of the Pueblo Indians live below poverty. That's a huge number. What puts a huge dent into our believes and how to see the Indians is what we saw along the way to Monument Valley.
Fields of beer bottles - everywhere
So disappointed to see this. It was not just sporadic, it was everywhere. Where is their respect for their own land? There is a saying in German; You don't dirty your own nest.
